Monday Challenge: September 09, 2019
Size doesn't matter when it comes to your brain and kindness. Even a simple act of kindness causes your brain to release of a hormone called oxytocin. This hormone activates the part of your brain that makes you feel pleasure and helps modulate your emotions and social interactions.
So go big or go small, you'll get the same amount of brain boost. A small act of kindness, such as a warm smile or an encouraging word, can be as meaningful as buying someone a gift or taking them on a trip.
Our team challenges you to do these five acts of kindness throughout this week. Let us know if you feel a boost in your overall well-being using #iChoose2BeKind or commenting on our blog.
Five Intentional Acts of Kindness to Do This Week:
Until next time... be thoughtful, be present, be kind.
